BFA EXHIBITION WORKS
These are the works I created for my Digital Media Art BFA Show. These are a series of four illustrations which depict some of the most occurring emotions and expressions when one plays video games. These works were inspired from my own personal love and experience towards video games which is why I decided to to pay a sort of tribute to that by illustrating them through four different abstract faces each depicting a certain emotion felt during or after gameplay. Video games that have made me feel that way are represented around each individual face with a piece of fan art which is used to represent that game, with a small exception being “Empowerment” which does not depict certain video games, but rather, the overall feelings of Success, Achievement and Victory during or after gameplay. With these works I hope to further express the message that video games have more to them than what the media claims as “Violence” and are capable of much more.
